I Got A Blank Space

first time drinking sarsaparilla again after a while Kita selalu punya first time yang nggak diduga. Momen "pertama kali" yang bikin kita mikir "duh kemana aja sih aku selama ini??!?!" Atau "wah ternyata seru juga ya melakukan ini??!!" Misalnya, kalau gue, menemukan bahwa lagu-lagu The Neighbourhood sangatt asyikk. Ternyata gue pernah dengerin "Sweater Weather" tapi versinya MAX. Semua tuh gara2 semalem gue liat moodboard di pinterest dan ada yang naruh judul itu. Kepolah gue. Kebiasaan gue kalau ada lagu enak, gue sering langsung ngulik sealbum-albumnya. Biasanya gue menemukan banyak hidden gems di sana buat dimasukin ke playlist. Gue pun tidur diantar lagu-lagu doi (tentu pasang sleep timer biar ga kebablasan nyala sampai pagi). Dan tadi bangun tidur langsung nyari lagu2 doi lagi!! Gila. Sejauh ini gue menemukan album ini tuh cocok buat di-play random. Pas buat nemenin kerja tengah malem atau mau tidur jam 2am tapi masi seger. Nah, lagu-lagu ...

*this might be the most depressive shit I've ever written haha* ====== August, 2022 #1 People's life looks much cooler on Instagram, doesn't it? At least that's what I thought these days. It has always been a never-ending struggle to feel content with my daily life while seeing other's perfect life on social media. That feeling doesn't come every day, I know, but when it hits me, I just can't relax. There's an urge to compare their fancy  life to mine even though I know there's no use. It also makes me wonder, what are we trying to prove through our Instagram stories or posts? To whom do we seek validation? Why do some of us overshare? Well, we can post anything we want to. Anything, as long as it doesn't violate the T&C. I do agree that we can only control what we can control.
